| Avrei voluto utilizzare l'immagine di questa incantevole dama scollacciata e festaiola per augurare a tutti i miei lettori "Buone Feste" e "Una buona Fine per Un buon Inizio" dell'Anno Nuovo, ma purtroppo così non è stato, ritrovandomi, mio malgrado, con un computer irrimediabilmente guasto per la fine dell'anno. Come lo scorso anno, avevo trovato questa splendida creazione di Gale Bantock che mi ha ricordato un po' Christabel, più quella cinematografica, che quella letteraria, devo puntualizzare. Mi ha fatto pensare ad una Christabel che alla fine della festa si ritira nel suo salottino portando con se il suo docile(?!) canarino Monsignor Dorato e la sua gabbietta elaborata come un Taj Mahal, percorrendo tutte le stanze della sua casa ormai vuota come la fata delle sue poesie. Non è mai troppo tardi....per augurarsi che per tutti sia stato un "Buon Inizio" pieno di entusiasmo per il mondo in scala 1:12, se non per quello a grandezza naturale. |

Oh, Maria ! Maybe this was my doll! .... But unfortunately it is not. I just posted the picture to accompany my words. This beautiful creation was for sale before Christmas at Swan Miniatures and now it's gone. I wonder which lucky wealthy collector could buy such a wonder .....

The Pre-Raphaelite beauty canons are definitely higher, especially attractive than traditionally beautiful. And the paintings of Waterhouse, see the woman on the wall of roses, makes you imagine so many things, feelings, scenarios diversi.Ma especially necklines .... nothing!
