E' superiore alle sue capacità lasciare una scatola di caramelle al latte - o uno squisito pasticcio di maccheroni - o dei croccantini al brandy - nella Dispensa - senza prendere un piccolo esemplare di qui - immergere un cucchiaio là e lasciar tracce della sua ghiottoneria. Lo stesso accade con il mio infelice Io e la stesura delle lettere. .....

I am also a collector of dolls by Lisa Johnson Richards (you can visit my blog http://www.petitconnoisseurs.com/blog). I wanted to highlight to you and your readers Lisa's dolls are even more incredible in 'real' life. She is a true artisan in every sense of the word, her dolls really are exquisite and I can assure you the fine detail alone not mentioning the many hours of work given to each of Lisa's creations by far justifies to what you refer to as ‘expensive’.
Luckily there is such a wide variety in the miniature market for all pockets and thus everyone has the opportunity to find something to fit their budget.
When I see something beautiful and knowingly cannot afford, I rather show my admiration to the artisan. We should always enjoy and admire art.
